The 2026 Australian Good Design Awards are now open for entries, inviting the people and organisations shaping what’s next to put their work forward. From social impact and service design to engineering, research, digital and the built environment, the Awards recognise design with meaningful outcomes, clarity of purpose, responsibility and impact.
In 2025, Deadly Democracy was awarded the joint Australian Good Design Award of the Year, the highest honour across all design disciplines. The Jury recognised it as one of two projects representing the peak of design excellence, innovation, and social impact, celebrating a program that reimagines civic engagement by placing First Nations young people at the centre of democratic participation.
